Experience:
Fiona McVilly has a Bachelor of Laws (with second class Honours Division B) and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies with double majors in both ethics and cultural studies. Fiona graduated from University in 2003.
During her studies with Griffith University, Fiona underwent 12 months clinical placement with Caxton Community Legal Centre were she developed her interest in family law. Fiona is currently a volunteer at the Caxton since graduating from University.
Fiona's previous area of experience was in litigation where she worked with Bennett and Philp Solicitors for four years.
During her time at Griffith University Fiona also won a scholarship to South Korea. Fiona spent 3 months in Seoul partaking in an internship with LG in their legal department.
Fiona also was awarded top student for the Advanced Family Law Clinic run by Griffith University through Caxton Community Legal Centre and also Learning Network Queensland.
Recently Fiona has attended training seminars specializing in Superannuation and pre-nuptial agreements. Her area of interest is Domestic Violence.
