Anthony Messina is a solicitor with the firm in the Litigation Team, having joined the firm in May 2007. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology, having completed that study on a part-time basis over a period of eight (8) years.
In 2003 while still studying, Anthony took up full-time employment for the firm Palella Humphries & Vernados as a Law Clerk. Despite originally having an interest in commercial law, Anthony soon found himself in the midst of litigation, assisting in the areas of commercial and general litigation, criminal law and family law.
In Anthony’s 6 years of working in the field of litigation, he has been exposed to a vast and extensive array of matters and gained extensive experience in that field.
Anthony has been involved in matters in the High Court of Australia, Queensland Court of Appeal, Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts of Queensland, Federal, Federal Magistrates and Family Courts of Australia and in Tribunals such as the Retail Shop Leases Tribunal and Commercial and Consumer Tribunal.
