Current Area of Expertise: David Callaghan has a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology. He is currently undertaking a Diploma of Practical Legal Training with the Queensland University of Technology and expects to be admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland by July 2009. David began his employment with Hatzis Lawyers in December 2007 as a Research Assistant where he worked closely with our Conveyancing and Commercial Departments. Since graduating in July 2008, David now works solely in our Commercial team handling our transaction files under the supervision of George Hatzis, our Principal. David's areas of practice include:
  • Business Sales and Purchases;
  • Commercial Property Sales and Purchases;
  • Wills, Power of Attorney and Advance Health Directives; and
  • Drafting of Commercial Agreements.

CHRIS HERRALD

Current Area of Expertise:: Chris Herrald has a Bachelor of Laws, graduating from the University of Queensland in July 2009.Prior to being awarded the Bachelor of Laws, Chris was awarded a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations, in 2006. Chris is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law anticipating completion in February 2010, and was admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland on 27 April 2010. Chris began her employment with Hatzis Lawyers in November 2004 as a junior secretary, progressively holding the positions of secretary, personal assistant and paralegal prior to her current position. Chris has worked closely with all teams at Hatzis Lawyers, particularly with the Family Law Team and currently with the Commercial Team.  Chris currently handles our estate administration files under the supervision of George Hatzis, our Principal.

    • Estate Planning;
    • Estate Administration;
    • Estate Litigation
    • Wills, Power of Attorney and Advance Health Directives; and
    • Guardianship and Administrative matters.
