Disassociating from a Criminal Gang

Disassociating from a Criminal Gang

Disassociating from a Criminal Gang.

As of 1st July, particular industries have amended their licensing requirements so that active members of criminal organisations, including criminal motorcycle gangs, will be prohibited from gaining licences to work in these fields.

The Queensland Police Service has brought forward its new legal process for disassociation from a criminal motorcycle gang. In doing this, an applicant must present particular information demonstrating that the applicant is no longer involved with their particular criminal organisation.

The disassociation application will then be assessed and the verdict on your disassociation will be announced and, in the case of the application being revoked, legal action can be taken to appeal the decision.

If you require legal action regarding these new laws or have any questions pertaining to these laws,
feel free to email litigation@hatzis.com.au or call 1300 HATZIS (1300 428 947) .
